When I bought my Avalon I was advised that although the end pin hole was approximately the right width for a standard strapjack I might need to expand it slightly.
I'm trying to fit the strapjack assembly that comes with a L R Baggs M1 Active and sure enough, although it is wide enough on the outside, inside it is a tad too narrow.
I can't believe it is not easy enough for me to widen out the internal side slightly. Can someone recommend what tool I would need, and if my hand drill would be sufficient? What steps should I take to ensure that I don't damage the external finish? Should I be too concerned about the internal finish?
TIA for answers
