Umm not sure.... is the addition the pic-guard? -if so might this explain why it has gone so cheap

It sure is! Avalons usually don't have pickguard, or else they have a clear one. Sometimes black, but never anything like that!

Wish I had sone cash floating around - that's a bargain - even with that grotesque pick-guard!
