eBay payments

Postby onemanband » 30 Jun 2011, 22:44

Hi again,
Having recently sold a few music related items on eBay (fx pedals/speaker covers etc)., I have heard nothing from the buyer of one item since he won the auction, no message or any contact at all, even though I have submitted an invoice with payment details.
Question is, what do you reckon is a reasonable amount of time to wait until I re-list the item, bearing in mind the buyer may be away on holiday or may have been taken ill??

Cheers.....Brian

Suggest you contact ebay and ask them. There may be an FAQ on it.

I have a similar, but fortunately resolved story. Sold a bouzouki back in February. Said I wouldn't ship it as it didn't have a hard case. Had a buyer from Italy who had a friend who was to drive down and pick it up. Guy didn't come through, so in the end, my buyer said he would accept all responsibility for any breakages. Luckily, it arrived OK, but whole transaction took over three months to complete!!

Cheers guys,

finally received the payment, "mix up over email addresses", so all's well that ends well.

Thanks for the replies
