Saddle Dimensions

Postby GaryGraham » 21 Jun 2011, 21:20

I have a DS100E silver series and I need to replace the saddle as I sanded my last one down too far trying to fix the tone, does anyone know how thick it should be?

Hi Gary,

You can get a bone replacement one from http://www.allparts.uk.com/online-shop/allparts-guitar-amp-parts/nuts-saddles/saddles/bone-saddles-c-277_1_37_542_44.html
Part no. BS-0254-000 is a bone replacement, you might have to reduce the length by about 3mm.

Many thanks JB. I've read a bit about the bone saddles and it'll be great to enhance the already-great tone of my silver series.

Cheers for the advice and the link!
