How often was the "Avalon Legacy L32 c" built?

Postby ewert » 03 Apr 2010, 13:48

Hello there from Germany,

I have one question: could you please tell me, how often you have build the "Avalon Legacy 32 c"?

I´m sorry, my english ist not really good...:) but it´s good enough to understand your answers. there must be some reason for all those dictionaries, hehe:D

liebe Grüsse,

Ewert

ps.: in 25 years of playing guitar, this one is the best I´ve ever played. Everyday, when I´m waking up, I´m really glad - even though I play her for 3 years...I´m looking forward to my first Avalon 12 String!

Hi Ewert,

Which body size ? L, A, D or S ?

The Rosewood / Spruce (32) combination is our most popular by far.

It'll be on the label inside, it should say L32C or A32C, S32C or D32C.

Cheers

hey there ewert, the L32C is always in production as it's one of our most popular models and yes, it has our AXE bracing pattern.

thank you, jb for your answer! :)

how often was the l32c built since now?

...and who built the axe bracing system for the first time?

what is the difference between axe bracing and "normal" bracing? a brighter tone? or more sustain?

..and i´m not surprised that the l32c is built so often. every morning i wake up and see my avalon i´m so glad to have her... and this since many years from now.

please say a big "thank you" to all of your crafters!!

liebe grüsse,

ewert

Well, I've only had my L32C since the end of Jan and it's already become my 'go to' guitar for most alternate tunings.

As for how many L32C's there are, as Jim says, while they are probably one of the most popular models, as my beauty is only number 1608 of all the Legacy's built, you are still in quite an exclusive club! :)
