Postby Guitar Jar » 10 Jan 2011, 12:36

Guitar Jar (http://www.guitarjar.co.uk/), an online guitarist magazine & community, is looking for guitarists to help spread the word about Avalon Guitars by sending in user reviews of any of their products you’re using on a regular basis, whether for recording, gigging, or both.

We’re fans of Avalon, so if you’d like to help us promote Avalon further to the guitar playing community, please send in your user reviews to Guitar Jar here: http://www.guitarjar.co.uk/add-user-review/

Thanks for reading this and in the mean time, please read the Guitar Jar interview with Avalon: http://www.guitarjar.co.uk/features/avalon-guitars-interview/

Thanks

I added a review of my L32 today, GuitarJar is a fantastic resource for guitar players, I hope it becomes more popular!

Agreed, very well-written review. Once I've sold my OM and got my Avalon, I doubt I could be so eloquent, but we'll have to see.

Thanks guys, I have to say, for all around use, the Avalon is the best guitar I have owned to date, the more people try them, the more will realise what an unsung treasure they are.

Great response from the Avalon forum, there's a couple of Avalon guitars reviewed on Guitar Jar now.

If anyone else would like to contribute by sending Avalon reviews to Guitar Jar, feel free: http://www.guitarjar.co.uk/add-user-review/

Any Master or Premiers Series users here? Also any users of the Carl Verheyen Signature Model? I'd love to receive reviews of those.

I'm scared to play a Master series, in case I can't bring myself to give it back....I'd have to set up camp in the showroom!

Just on a sideways shift; as well as submitting any additional Avalon reviews, it'll be fantastic if any of you could submit reviews of the acoustic amps that you choose to use.

I'll hold my hands up in saying the "acoustic" realm is fairly new to me, and I'm discovering more and more all the time, both through Guitar Jar and through friends.

Guitar Jar has a few electric guitar amp reviews, but could really benefit from having acoustic amp reviews too.

If you have experience of a particular acoustic amp(s), please use the link above to share your thoughts. That would be fantastic. Thanks!

I have a Fishman Loudbox, gen 1....but to be honest, a review would be negative, as I've had untold trouble with this thing, and Fishman UK were less than helpful.

Probably best I don't put that online!

Similarly, I was on a very small budget and bought a Behringer ACX1800. 2x90W?? More like 2 x 30W!! Nice sound, though and the compressor is pretty useful. Reverb and delay are OK too, but the chorus? Yuck!
