strap button for Avalon guitar

I'm thinking of putting a strap button for my Avalon Gold S200. I'm thinking of putting at the same spot as most other guitars - ie, heel side that's nearer to treble strings. Any practical location (with pics) that some of you might recommend?

When Avalon fit them, they put them on the base of the heel. This keeps the strap out of the way of your left hand but I think the position you describe makes the guitar more stable on the strap.
