Roderich Paesold guitar

Postby Lentin » 11 Apr 2009, 14:28

These days, as they were public holidays where I live, I have been cleaning, oiling and re-stringing an old guitar I had somewhere at home.
It's a Roderich Paesol 6 string guitar, model P-130, made in Holland.
It's not in a very good shape. In fact, it looks bad and sounds worse.
I bought it around 1975.
I have tried to find some info surfing Internet, but with very poor results.
If any of you knows anything about this guitars, please, let me know.

Regards

Hi Lentin,

Roderich Paesold started business in 1937, they made all sorts of instruments with the exception of guitars :?
After the war they became renown for their violin bow, in the sixties Boosey& Hawkes took over, this bigger company tried to get their share in the booming guitar business at that time. They bought Dutch guitars, brand Egmond, and sold them under the name of Roderich P.

Cheers , Coen
