Would Avalon consider an all dead fly rosette?

My dream guitar would have to be a copy of SEASICK STEVE'S----only kidding John!----No it would simply be the Avalon A12 pictured on this thread what a beautiful guitar.

Avalon make so many dream guitar's it would be hard to choose. A trip to there factory can quite often leave you feeling sick.

It's almost like asking what would your dream wife would be like--but lets not go down that road otherwise you'll end up with more replies than my Condom String thread.

There has to be something said for simply loving your guitar, and that takes time--but although I've been married for 28 years to my lovely wife and would not swap her for the world --I do like to look at a pretty girl DREAM ON FOLKS!

Well, my new Avalon guitar has arrived, and it truly is a dream guitar. It's a Premier model Spruce & Blackwood A350. It is a work of art - the sound is awesome - and it looks and feels incredible. A big thanks to everyone at Avalon. Take a butcher's at this: -

I've quickly recorded something so you can get an idea of the sound here: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7381595

Hopefully my playing won't put anybody off buying from Avalon!! :)

Thanks John.

The strings are whatever it arrived with. I think they are D'Addario EXPs, which are coated strings. They sound pretty good, but they almost squeek as my fingers pluck the strings. I will change them for a set of Newtones when I get the chance.

The guitar has got a mellow vibe to it, it's VERY responsive, so maybe I've toned down my playing a bit until I get used to that. It's got a K&K pickup fitted as well, which sounds rather nice when plugged in. All in all, I',m very pleased with it. :D
