Fishman Matrix blend question

Postby Son of Thunder » 25 Dec 2008, 21:51

First off, it's been a while since I've posted here. (I blame Sam Middlebrook.) So I'd like to start by wishing all a merry Christmas!

The internal blender/mic electronics unit on my L10 has detached, and I'm wondering if anyone here has had the same problem. If so, what did you use to re-attach the unit, and what sort of success have you had with it?

Dust and sweat can sometimes work it's way between the sticky pad and the soundboard unfortunately.
Some successful fixes are to re-stick the housing unit with super glue after removing any nasty sticking to the pad or replace the pad with a different sticky pad, I've even seen some good solutions using sticky fix it pads.

don't forget the remove the actual pre-amp unit for the holding pad, it's only held on magnetically.

Thanks, JB! I'll have a go at it, and let you know how it works.

So far, so good. We'll see how long it holds.
