Does anyone know anything about these guitars? Possibly a numerical value on one? After looking them up I feel as though they could be similar to the Silver Series?? Forgive me if I am wrong.

Thanks

Disclaimer: I haven't played an S5...but, based on discussions with other Lowden owners, my impression is that quality of the Japanese-made Lowdens was very, very good, perhaps on a par with the Irish-made ones that preceded and succeeded them. So at the very least, an S5 would be more on a par with the Avalon Golds made in Czechoslovakia by Frantisek Furch than with the Korean-made Silvers (which were made with laminated back and sides, etc.).
