Nut and saddle on my AS-201

Postby dorraineellis » 09 Jul 2008, 20:47

I'm looking to replace the nut and saddle on my Silver series. Since it has been said that the bone pieces are better. Where can i find these pieces? how much would it cost in the U.S to have this done. And is it a hard job? the nut anyway. id imagine the saddle wouldn't be too hard. hahaha

Anybody know where i can get a good deal in So cal? or at least order the pieces i'm looking for online?

would bone bridge pins make a difference as well? Is there a specific size i would need? ANY recommendations?

A good place to start in the US would be www.stewmac.com

You will have to do some filing and shaping but I recommend taking it to guitar tech to have this done if you're unsure.
