Hello, I just got an Avalon AS100 for much cheapness on ebay and having been suitably impressed I thought I would log on and see what is rocking and a rolling on here.

Hi bigdoug - a warm welcome to the Avalon forum!

Congratulations on acquiring your new Avalon - much praise has been heaped on the AS100 and Silver Series in general, but my favourite will always be the quote from Guitarist magazine: "The AS100 turns out a performance of sheer class and distinction on a par with acoustics at least three times its price. There's clarity, depth sweetness and power combined with the kind of sensitive response you normally expect from the best high end models."

You indeed have a bargain!
