tribute to tradition

Postby Coen V » 19 Feb 2008, 20:10

Hi there,

Here's another continental contribution to the artists forum. I have recorded this piece together with my dear friend Diana on vocals, and it's my way to say thanks to all of you that got me appreciate traditional music. A year ago I was still trying to break speed limits as an electric player, but then an Irish beauty came into my life...
The piece can be found under this link: toto.mp3 - 2.42MB

Cheers, Coen

Dank voor je reactie, Chris, die wordt zeer op prijs gesteld, ook omdat Belgen weten wat lekker bier is...
I recorded this one a while ago and since then my guitar is opening up more and more, producing lovely overtones. Ofcourse I'm very happy with that and want to share it with you in this little improvisation on a song by Darrell Scott.improvisation.mp3 - 1.29MB

thanks John, always a pleasure to read your comments, and of others too. But I woudn't mind to hear (music) from other true Avalonians as well :)
So I'm in for some grey(t) picking, (ad)hammer-ons or fine croftsmanship :)

Chris, my guitar is an Irish Gold A100C. About one year old now, so the guitar has really started opening up now. Very inspiring so I might produce another soundclip before I leave it to the next (overseas?) artist.
