Gitano guitar support

Hello girls and boys,

I am new here to the forum and want say hello to all of you. I come from Germany so please apollogize for my bad English.
I own a Avalon L-10 since last week and I really like it. My problem is now, that I want to attach a Gitano guitar support to it. This comes with two suckers which will be plugged directly down to the guitar. I heared many times that this could cause problems, depending on the lac of the guitar. I simply don't know wnat kind of lac is used at my instrument. Does anyone have experience with this? This Gitano comes as well with a foil in case the guitar don't have glossiness lac. But here I am worried as well if that foil could damage my guitar. Can anyone help?

Hi Joerg,

Your Avalon will have a Nitro-Cellulose finish, the back and sides have about 11 coats in total.

I've never used the Gitano support so am unable to comment on whether or not it will cause damage.
