Ullapool Guitar Festival

Don't forget there's also the Ullapool Guitar Festival starting this Friday 5th ... we'll be there with some of our more "custom" pieces and the auction guitar is a rather splendid L12 with superbe headstock inlay of a thistle done in Japanese Jade, Sugilite, Abalone and Mother of Pearl.

Woweee, I love your guitars... :P

And I love the fact that you have the courage to think outside the box, so to speak. In spite of all the comments one can find in some other forums about your Lowden heritage, I find your guitars very original, and most of all, very inspiring.

This thistle motif is just another great example - With an ornamentation like this, you change the whole appearance of the guitar, yet it is so
subtle and tasteful that it doesn´t get tacky. With an Avalon, it is still the woodwork itself that is the main attraction.
