A201 Questions

I just bought a used A201 and had a few questions about it.

1. Exactly what kind of truss rod tool do I need to get? And what's the best method to access the truss rod, which is hidden up behind some bracing?

2. I'm hoping to use the guitar in DADGAD, and thought that mediums would bring out a bigger sound. Any problem with using mediums with the cedar top?

3. The guitar came with a small area of pick rash on the cedar just beyond the pickguard. Any way to refinish that? Or is that not practical?

Truss rod can be adjusted with a 5mm allen key or hex-ball driver, readily available in most good hardware stores.

Mediums are fine on our Cedar tops

Refinishing and returning the guitar to it's former glory is not possible with out removing the bridge ... a major job but can certainly be done ok.
