Looking for a Fishman Acoustic Matrix pickup System for my L25.Obviously it has to be the split saddle design.Could you recommend somewhere to buy one as close as possible to Ireland.JB,Perhaps you could supply one yourselves.Either way ,I would be grateful for any help, thanks

Hi Finnangreen

Sorry to digress and not to answer your question... but have you thought about adding an internal mic to the pickup ? It really translates more of the individual voice of your guitar (but is also more prone to feedback in a loud setting - but then you can turn it off of course).
An easy and unobtrusive solution would be the Fishman Ellipse blend, which can easily be mounted inside the soundhole and is very lightweight.

Or go for a magnetic style one like a fishman rare earth. they sound quite nice too and you can get them with a mic.

As for your original question, have you tried google?

FWIW, I have the Acoustic Matrix on my Lowden and am quite pleased. I also have Crown internal mic, and the stereo signal is mixed in an external Fishman blender. I get frequent compliments on the sound of this setup, but I have learned that the sound delivered by the Acoustic Matrix on its own is quite good.

I haven't mic'd my Avalon yet, and will likely go with the same setup, or perhaps the new Ellipse already mentioned.

In any case, happy hunting.

Hi Finnan, we'll not get our bulk Fishman order in until the end of Jan07 but there are reliable places you could order online from the UK if you need it quickly.
