Let's pray for Mr. Pohl!

Postby JRenn19 » 08 Nov 2006, 01:35

Hello everyone. As most of you here at the forum know, Mr. Pohl here has broken his right hand in a rather sever way, and things have become rather frustrating for him. I know I'm not the only one here who believes that prayer to God by His Son Jesus affects things, so I wanted to start a thread to pray for him and his immediate healing. If you are under the same conviction, please post "Amen" to this post, and believe with me that we'll be hearing some great news soon!

Father,

We know that you created us, the earth, and everything that breathes upon it. You sent your Son, Jesus, to be murdered and beaten so that our sins would be atoned for, that we could really know you. You sent the Holy Spirit to dwell with us and be our guide as truth. Lord, we pray that we would experience the full glory of your Resurrection and see this healing take place. Your Word says that Jesus was "pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed." We trust that you are not a liar, God, and we believe in the words you gave us. Now we submit Mr. Pohl to you and trust that you have Your best in mind for him. Thank you for his healing, and our own as well. What you freely give, we accept in Jesus' name. Thank you for being good and loving us though we don't deserve it. Praise you, Lord! In the Mighty Name of Jesus, AMEN!!!

How appropriate that I not stumble on this thread until Christmas Eve! I thank my brothers in Christ for their prayers on my behalf. I am truely touched. As an update on my condition, let me share with you that I have had corrective surgery on the 22nd. The dr. reports that everything went well. My right hand is bundled up to the elbow in "swaddling clothes" and the exposed fingers are warm and pink. The dr. is a bass player! He said I should be able to start playing in about 4 weeks. (That's 2 fortnights in UK time).

Once again, thank you for your prayers.

Looking forward to hearing a full report when you're pickin' again.

May those four weeks go by in a healing and speedy way.

Just go easy when you do get back to the guitar.

Still prayin'.
