Complementary guitar

Postby Hpaluche » 29 Sep 2004, 21:15

Hi all,

I have a mahogany-sitkaspruce dreadnought very flatpicking oriented.
As I am developping my fingerstyle, what model of avalon could be the good complementary guitar of my dreadnought for fingerstyle with a touch of bluesy style. (Cedar or not Cedar?)

Thanks

H.

A good model would be the L25 if you want a good complimentary foil to your dreadnought as this guitar will provide a very full warm and full dynamic response that will reproduce anything the dreadnought does and inspire you with a broader tonal landscape besides. This is a cedar rosewood model and thereforte quite loose sounding, if you prefer the spruce version which simply is brighter and tighter then go for the L32, I doubt if you will be disappointed with either though!
