What a great idea, it's about time we came up with a new initiative to find out what the public out there think about our guitars. Not only that but as the weeks and months pass by I'm sure that the database of members will continue to grow, and new and interesting topics of discussion will appear on the forum. Well done to all the staff at the factory for producing a fantastic guitar and with this new forum up and running I'm sure we will meet a lot of new friends in the music industry. :D

Thanks Westie for your comments, we do hope these forums will build and grow into an informative database of opinions, skills, ideas created by guitar players and builders who visit.

We hope you enjoy it too, this is the first step for us (Avalon Guitars) into forums and we're looking forward to the journey and the challenge.

"Challenge" is the word!

I've been on many fora, from the sublime (telecaster.com) to the ridiculous (the old, sadly missed Fender UK Forum) they're all "challenging" for the moderators at one time or another!!

Hopefully the membership here will quickly reach "critical mass" and the forum is a roaring success. :)

you're right there Colin, forums in general tend to be a mind-field to "police" and hopefully we'll build a membership of "savy" sensible people :)

we'll see
