Hi all,

I wasn't sure if anyone here has seen this fella, he's a young Welsh chap who i've been following for a couple of years now and he's come on tremendously! He plays with Tommy Emmanuel and has supported Andy Mckee and Don Ross a few times last year. If you've not seen him check some of his stuff out on youtube - I just saw this video - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nKffihJyW ... re=related of him 'warming up' on a Fylde custom cutaway which sounds sublime!

Here's another couple of tracks worth listening to!

I'm sure most of you have seen his stuff, but never the less, hope you enjoy :)

Gareth Pearson is a fantastic player, see him a few times now and he was great when he visited us in 2007.

Some of the stuff he was doing was too fast for my slow eyes !

He's definitely got some skills! and a lot of promise for the future too, as he's only 19!

Did he purchase an Avalon when he visited you JB? it'd be great to hear him playing one!

His father Graham was a founding member of the Islwyn Acoustic Guitar club and he and Gareth are still members. They were at the AGM last Friday. The big disappointment - Gareth didn't have his guitar with him. A performance would have been the highlight of the night. He lives guitar, a great player but also a great entertainer.

Yes what a talent--I've seen Gareth a few times --I even bought him a drink in a bar in Belfast after asking him how old he was. We compaired finger nails or should I say the lack of them.

Realy nice guy!
