Got to bed at seven this morning, and after a few hours alllready wide awake, full of energy and inspiration, that brought me to some musical home-cooking, here is the result: a dream.mp3 - 2.90MB

Used alternate tuning I learned from my good friend Michael, known on the forum as Mike450. He has a very nice song on his page I think you listen to, called Kay, a real feelgood experience :D . Go to: www.myspace.com/michaeldickinson1

Cheers, Coen

After recording the piece it was time for new strings. I changed from D'addario to El. Nano's, JB's favourite strings, and I must say it is an excellent choice. The guitar is really singing now in all its beauty, so thanks for the advise Jim :)
Offcourse I would be happy to share that new supersound on the forum, how about a (new) collab, Ross?

cheers, Coen

Thank you Coen, it's always good to inspire other's to pick up their guitar and play infact it's one of the feelings you can have. I learnt this EADEAE -tuning on this forum from our good friend mr335. I must say though! I find Avalon acoustic's suite this particular tunnig, there's a strong hauting Irish folk sound going on. Having said that one my all time favorites is that old English folk song/tune Scarborough Fair which I play in standard tuning. If I could only write a song as good Scarborough Fair I could afford to buy a white van drive over to Avalon and say "Ok Jim I'm buying the lot including the lefties for my good freind Coen.
