An Avalon artist can no longer be numbered among us, because he stepped into the next world last week. Though I can't say I knew Roby, I did get to see and hear him live on a couple of occasions. A gifted songwriter and player, he shall be missed. See you later, Roby!

Thank you for this clip - it's amazing that a song he wrote about 15 years ago about the journey from this life to the next would be the last song he performed solo.

And this is probably the only footage we'll ever have of Roby playing his signature model prototype - we were getting ready the mark II in a black finish just before Christmas.

An inspiring song from an amazing man.
