Riverdog Posting

Hi Guys

Riverdog had just uploaded a new vid on:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ICy3Bp-LhU&feature=uploademail

He's playing a Goodall, not his Avalon, but it still sounds great!

Long may he strum!

Thanks John for the kind comments on my YTC and the props here. Yes I've been givin' my Goody much love lately, but I probably play my Avi more. I've been experimenting with true mediums on the Avalon and I like it. The tension does not seem to affect the cedar top and JB said they were built to take it. I'll be doing the next few vids with the Avalon and Lowden. My Lowden is my gig guitar and stays out at the beach where I play, the Avi sits with me on the couch at night where I watch basketball, noodle and hopefully write something! So I thought I'd hook up with the Goody for a few, but I LOVE AVALON!!!

Thanks again John & Easter blessings to all, :)

I saw the new vid in my youtube digest: great playing as usual and that Goodall does sound very nice.

As for those True Mediums, I love them on my jumbo, though I wish they would do a coated version too.

Thanks Boom I appreciate the kind props. 8)

My Avi likes the TM's, but she is de-strung right now due to some artwork I am having done to the headstock. The artist had some trouble doing what I wanted and its kinda messed up right now, but fixable. I told Grey P. John about it the other day. Part of the problem is the type of sealer to put over the goldleaf so as to seal and match/blend in with what is already on the headstock without screwing it up. If it turns out somewhat decent, I'll post a pick; but I'm jonesing to string 'er up and pick! But I have to wait at least another week or so.

If I ever get another guitar, it will have to be an Avalon BTO shallow depth A32c with custom headstock inlay design, but I'm gettin' older and these three ladies are enough to handle, but you never know and Avalon is at the top of my list!

Cheers,
