Thanks Eric, thanks Jim.
There are currently 273 Scottish Munros and I have climbed 205 of them. As you can see, the scenery is spectacular! A bit different to the St John River, but not unlike the Mournes!
In the last couple of months I have been teaching myself mandocello and the guitars are a bit neglected. The Eclipse hadn't been out of the case for a while until yesterday, but even with old strings it knocked me out hearing it fresh.
The volume is amazing and it is very deep. It still manages to be sweet when picked softly, though. A friend of mine refuses to believe that I am playing just one guitar in the first part of a track on the last CD. He swears there is a bouzouki on there as well and my engineer loves the overtones the Eclipse kicks out in the studio.
Long may you strum!
John
