Could it be possible to get sound from your guitar without touching the strings with your fingers :?:
The answer is Yes :!:
The proof is here.... http://soundcloud.com/toeter-1/neck-and-neck

Thanks John, indeed it's me playing. Right now I'm with a band that wants me to do some bluesy stuff like this on the electric. So I thought I might as well give it a try on my beloved Avalon. :)
Also lookin' forward to hear some new (or old) sounds from other Avalonians here, and would n't mind your fingers touching the strings.

Coen that was primo! Very nice sounding and refreshing. I wish I could contribute, but my Ava is down for awhile as I posted today. All I have is a lil' Goodall stuff lately, but my lil' Concert lass WILL BE BACK!

I think John's got some new tunes comin' soon and maybe we'll hear from our brother Mike 450 soon, love that man's vox, "Two Yellow Cranes"! Ok I'm having an Avalon fix, need to go plug in my Rick Jones CD immediately, followed by Greypicker's "The Reeds"... 8)

Bravo Coen, I look forward to more!

Thanks Eric for your kind words, I hope to hear from you and your Ava in the near future again, it's always an uplifting experience to watch you sing and play. :)
