Help with a lose nut

I was changing the strings on my S12 this evening, after removing all the strings to treat the fretboard to some loving care I noticed the nut was no longer attached. What kind of glue do I need to use to stick it back in place? will ordinary wood glue do, I'm not sure as the nut is bone. What should I use to bond the different materials?

a small drop of superglue will do the trick ... you don't need much as you only want to hold it in place and not weld it to the neck
