L-10... what type of mahogany??

Just wondering if Avalon used American or African mahogany on the back/sides of the L-10 ? Also, is it the ribbon mahogany? It appears to be ribboned in some of the photos that I have seen.

We use both South American and African.

Most of the L10's have been made with South American mahogany ... I think the last shipment came from Peru.
