Replacement Bridge Pins for A100CE

Postby Jim C » 29 Nov 2006, 14:47

Another Email about bridge pins...

My kids asked me what I would like for Christmas and the answer is - replacement bridge pins for my 18-month-old (ish) A100CE. A couple of them are cracked and splayed (they're wooden - ebony?) and it's only a matter of time before one of them fails completely.

Please advise on how I go about getting replacements and on the range of materials/options available.

There seem to be quite a number of Emails on this subject in the Forum!

Also, thank you from the bottom of my heart for a wonderful instrument. It's my first "decent" acoustic guitar and has reignited my interest in playing again. If you need/want Serial No. just let me know.

Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for The New Year to Everyone at Avalon

Hi Jim

Replacement pins can be purchased from a number of places including us. If you're in the U.S. you might want to order them from someone like LMI http://www.lmii.com/CartTwo/thirdproducts.asp?searchtext=bridge+pins&Submit=Quick+Search&NameProdHeader=Bridge+Pins+%2D+Wood+and+Plastic pin code P13MK

It'll be cheaper and quicker than getting them from us in Ireland.

Cheers

Hi Jim,

I'm in Glasgow, I'd like to give you guys the business and I want to be confident that the pins I'll get will fit - and will even have the through-hole that my current pins have.

Please let me know what you've got and I'll put it on my list for Santa.

Many Thanks for your prompt response.
