Avalon S25J

I have just purchased an Avalon (new) S25J Legacy model nylon string concert jazz cutaway guitar.

This guitar will become my workhorse. I tour across the US/Canada performing many styles ranging from classical (secular and sacred) to pop with a flat pick, in the future using only the Avalon. This guitar will be plugged in constantly, and I perform standing.

What is the best way to use a strap with this guitar? There is no second strap pin.

I do play all the way up to high C, 20th fret. A pin on the treble side of the heel would get in the way. I have a Martin with that issue...

Second, the pick up system does not provide volume, eq, etc. What do you find is the best system to control those? I have a Pod. Some suggest the Fishman Aura. Most places I plug into the system via a DI.
