The world is full of guitar stands and tuners with rubber pads that react with the nitro-cellulose on guitars. Lots of threads out there with lots of annoyed players.
Probably yes, but this is the first time I hear this.
Apart from the obvious answer (not to keep the guitar on the stand for long), do you know any preventive solution (covering rubber with something, for example) which allows to keep the guitar on the stand?
Nevertheless, I had once (many years ago, uff) a 12 string guitar (Framus, btw) that my dad crashed one night because it was on the stand and he didn't see it. That experience taught me to keep the guitar into its case as soon as I finish playing (and clean it a bit).
