New L25C arrived today

Hi folks

I live in Toronto and received my new L25C today
Love it already and its not even broken in

The cedar on the top is fabulous
It actually looks like sinker redwood as it has wide darker lines going through it. Never seen this on any Lowden or Avalon traditional cedar top

Real nice Indian Rosewood back and sides and very clean workmanship inside and out - so Im pleased as punch

I thought I would treat myself to an early Xmas present so that when the economy continues to sink and I get really depressed I can get stuck into the Avalon

Thanks to JB and Steve at Avalon and I did get the new Avalon Cap

Also, I have a cedar top...Fantastic response from the sound board. Unbelievable finger style guitar...If only I was a good finger picker!
