L25C or S25

Postby humblesheep » 07 Feb 2005, 18:14

just wondering which might be best suited for strumming. what do you guys think? i only play through the church pa. and since it's being played electric, does it matter which one? maybe only difference is appearance? i'm sure the L25C would be louder and maybe fuller sound acoustically, but when plugged in i wonder if there is a difference. i'm searching for the most natural sound i could get, not too bright and not too bassy. any feed back appreciated.

god is good, all the time.

Most guitars will give you feedback if you turn them up loud enough and stand in front of the speaker...

sorry I'll get my coat... No constructive advice either... :?

The "S" guitars actually can produce quite a big tone for their body size. I sold one to a shop here in Sweden, and they could not believe the sound that came out of it. It was a S200 (Gold Series), but I can imagine that the S25 would be a step over your expectations.

For simple strumming, I think that the "L" size would be great to have. I personally LOVE Avalons Dreadnaughts as Avalon has really "perfected" the dreadnaught sound. It great for struming, fingerpicking, whatever...

thanks "snakecraig"

I was leaning towards the L series also. I just wished that a local dealer had the L25C in stock. most dealers here in California don't carry the Legacy series, only the Gold or Silver. I have to order online. If you guys know any in the states I would appreciate....thanks again.

If you tell them that your serious about buying one, why don't they bring one in? Sometimes some shops stink!
