Hello All:
I just received a new A32c from Jim and the Gang at Avalon, and I wanted to plug the great service and patience I recieved while waiting for my new instrument (which is a beaut!!! :D :D ). I must have emailed jim about 50 times in the 4-5 weeks I was waiting for my guitar to be finished and shipped. He always graciously answered any questions I had with pictures and explanations and whatever... It really made my purchasing experiece a great one.

If I get the chance, I'll post some pics later...

Thanks to Jim and the great staff at Avalon,
-Michael

I put in a previous post to your shipping issue. Disregard it guess. As far as Avalon customer service, you cant beat it. They do what they say, and keep you informed the whole time. First class. There are a lot of choices out there, Martin, Taylor, and all......but, Avalons are every bit as good, if not better, and their attention to the customers is head and shoulders above what you'll get at Guitar City and the typical shops. Avalon cares...they are not going to slam dunk anyone, and treat their customers in a way that isnt seen for the most part these days, and in my opinion, head and shoulders above the way most places do business in any field. I wish them great success in penetrating the difficult guitar market in the US. It looks like they are making headway.

Funny you should mention Martin and Taylor. I actually grew up playing my uncle's Martin D28. I was crazy about it. In the past few years, I was exposed to Taylor, and when I recently started searching for a new acoustic guitar, I had settled on Taylor (I actually had the model picked out -- 714-ce). Through my endless guitar research, I stumbled upon Avalon. After countless hours of researching the company, the models, and their history (and Lowden's), I stared emailing them directly inquiring about the guitars. I was quickly sold on their service as well as the external feedback and reviews I read about the company and the guitars...buy buy Taylor. I totally agree, great service, great guitars.
