Well, here it is, the waiting is almost over. All being well, the guitar should be shipped this week. Can't wait to start gigging this beautiful instrument.

I shall though, miss the update pictures, and chats with JB who has been so helpful all through, making sure the instrument is exactly what I wanted. He is a true ambassador for a company who really docare.

One small point, I originally requested black tuner buttons but due to lack of stock the mini amber type have been fitted. (True to form, JB has assured me that a set of black tuners would be sent on to me as soon as stock arrives) Question is........I think the mini amber tuners suit the guitar better anyway, what do you think??

It's good being a member of the Avalon family and I look forward to both receiving and offering any advice on our forum in the future

Cheers..............Brian.

What a beautiful instrument... but the last days of the wait are the hardest to bear !!
I think I prefer black buttons.

Beautiful instrument!

With the headstock being black, the amber tuners look pretty good to me. When you get the black ones, just change them out and see which ones you like better. I just received an A32-c (6 string) in the mail on Friday...And let me just say, prepare to be blown away when your instrument arrives...the sound of the A32 is incredible!

The end of the line!!

Well, here we are.........the final chapter.

The guitar arrived today and prompted all the excited anticipation of unpacking.

The first thing that hit me was that wonderful smell of the new wood combined with the awsome, striking looks of the instrument. The build quality is flawless and surpassed all my expectations. (I am definitely sticking with the amber tuning buttons)!

Tuned up to concert pitch and hit my first chord.....the sound....simply stunning, so rich compared to my Takamine (Cedar & Mahogany). Perfect in every department, strumming, flatpicking and fingerpicking. The neck profile is also perfect for me...........this guitar is simply SUPERB.

On to the electrics (Fishman Prefix Plus).

Plugged into my PA and again the guitar ticked all the boxes. Perfect balance between the strings, terrific pre-amp giving unlimited eq. ing.......plus, one feature I consider a MUST when amplifying an acoustic, a notch filter!

I am ablsolutely delighted with this guitar and it now joins my A200CE in the Avalon family but, rest assured, this guitar has been bought to be gigged, not just to look at, and it will make it's debut this Friday (can't wait)!

Special thanks to JB who has been in regular contact in his updating and help with the project........ and a big thank you to the Avalon team for producing such a fantastic guitar.

Thanks to you all for your private messages, help and advice and I look forward to being able to contribute something in return, to the forum, soon.

Now...................where's that guitar!

Brian.
