anyones thoughts concerning laminates

hey guys i have owned the same takamine g-series for over 5 years and am looking for something new and avalon has occurred to be the only valid choice for me especially considering the price and the integrity that is apparent in them.
so the silver series look amazing and the specs look amazing, EXCEPT the laminated back and sides. simply because the words LAMINATE and GUITARS in the same sentence leaves a bad taste in my mouth simply because most laminated finish guitars(including my own) i have encountered i know could have better resonance if it wasn't laminated. guys your thoughts please!!!

thanks for the advice, i truely do expect the best out of anything i buy from avalon. where would you find a list of the factory discounted or second hand guitars besides ebay?

Give Jim a ring (he works for avalon, Not me, too many Jims around here!). The number's on the main website. Avalon sell guitars on ebay under the name irishguitars. There are quite often really nice guitars heavily discounted. Good luck

Passing along my fortunate find...
go to "everythingmusic4less" store on ebay, he is clearancing about 12 Avalons, half Silver, half Gold, and I thought the price outstanding!
I would have bought the L100C if it had had a cedar top!
