Hi everyone this is my frist post looking foward to hearing from some of you guys. My question is I play two acoustic's, for giging and busking which I love to do I use my Avalon silver series cutaway I love this guitar, recently while winding on the big E string the top of the string peg poped of replaced it with one that was to fat so I filed it to size stuck it in but it white and looks odd, where do I get a beutiful Avalon peg,Infact where might I purchase pegs made from Buffaloo horn I believe these are much stonger and also sound brighter and louder. I've also been told to replace the nut and saddle to bone, has anyone tried this or have any other ideas. My other acoustic is a WashburnD-21S/N a 26year old classic made in Japan, Sam Irvine who works for Avalon seen this guitar and it was lovely guitar. I would love to know the history of this guitar I believe it's Martin copy sounds fantastic if you have one keep it according to SAM the woods used in this model are top of the pops.
