Hi guys , first post !!! , ive just aquired a second hand as101 , after a good set up new elixir lights , what a tone , ive just got rid of a Taylor 615ce , two grands worth of guitar and this lil ole avalon walks all over it tone wise , the problem is the previous owner must have been a labratory beagle as the smell of smoke is overpowering , dumped the cheap case and got a skb case , but the guitar , how do i get rid of the smell , all ideas serious and comical welcome Lee

Put this inside your guitar until it burns out... is supposed to do the job...

Try converting to this: http://www.redferret.net/?p=7742 temporarily for a few weeks, I'm sure the cigarette smell would disappear quite quicky :wink:
