Thanks for the quick answer Jim. I have never played a guitar that sounds or feels as goods as my A32. The only guitar that came close was a J45 in the sound department, but the shape was not quite right for me. I love the fact that the guitars are made in Northern Ireland, I love the build quality, and most of all I love the sound.
What would you get for the same money from Martin & Co? Nothing anywhere near the quality of these guitars (IMO). I can understand people loving the vintage martin's, some modern Taylors, and certain Gibson acoustics, but unless you have got SERIOUS cash on the hip you should look no further.
I think with the Americana range, and the positive coverage it is getting in the guitar mags, the reputation of Avalon can only get bigger and better.
