Its A Wonderful World!!!

Postby simonayrton » 25 Oct 2006, 16:48

Well its been about 5 months now since i got my L32CE with many thanks to Jim. I was ecstatic when i first recieved it but am loving it more and more every time i play it.

This is a big shout out to Jim and everyone at Avalon for the superb quality of instruments they produce and servicethey provide. I have had many comments from people when playing my avalon who are asking "what is that guitar, it sounds amazing!?" I have been proud to tell them about you guys and the way you helped me get my instrument.

Its clear from seeing the posts on the forum that there is a great community of avalon players from all over.

I feel I am now part of the Avalon world and what a wonderful world it is!!

p.s. sorry for being a bit of a creep but it had to be said!!

God Bless

Congrats, Simon ! If you think you're a bit of a creep sharing your enthousiasm, well, most of us here are ! :D .

The quality of the instruments, the service from the Avalon team and the amazed comments from listeners : previous messages testify that this is exactly what most players (me included !) experience after buying an Avalon. And it keeps getting better over time...

aww shucks everyone ... you gonna make me all shy with those kind words  .... :D

seriously ... many thanks for the feedback, greatly appreciated. We're still a very small company compared to the big guns in the guitar world, we only make approx 400 guitars per year so we can still keep it real, upclose and personal with our customers

I learned what a great group of guys they were back when they were with that other guitar company. Steve Mac once wrote me a nice unsolicited e-mail, just because he saw their guitar on my website. A couple of year later, I got to know a member of their group personally, and now count him among my friends.

When they started Avalon, I had no choice but to switch loyalties. 8) And then there's the guitars they make...

Oh, yes, the guitars... *Sigh*
I ordered a L320 a while back, but was so impressed when I got it that I have decided to go with a cedar top as well, as soon as I get a thumbs up from JB. I actually never thought I would dare to buy a guitar online, untried and all, but Avalon's service minded friendliness won me over completely. And I am glad for that, because the guitar I got was absolutely breathtaking...
