Thank you JB as expected - yours prompt response. However, the pictures demonstrated on the webpage, I already saw it before. I am now looking for the exact A32CE-12 rather than that ordinary A32C. Could you help? Thank you very much indeed.

Sorry I've no pictures of the cutaway version, we don't make a lot of 12 strings through the year but here's some pictures of a full body A32-12

JB, that's fine for the photos on ebay. Thank you for your kindness. By the way, how much does it normally cost for the A32CE-12 model equipped with "FISHMAN"? If you feel pressure to tell the public here, please send email to mark.xu@eastwei.com Please note, the serial number is L 000165
Many many thanks
Mark

Standard UK Retail on the A32CE-12 with Fishman Matrix Internal would be £2599.

Hello Markinbfa

How is it like to be an acoustic guitar player in Beijing ? Is it a popular instrument over there ?

Fingerstyle in Beijing/ China

Postby markinbfa » 30 Oct 2006, 07:55

Hi Chris, I am a beginner of fingerstyle guitar player. I suppose 1980s was the golden time of guitar in China since every college dorm was occupied by 6 students, normally plus 5 guitars. Nowadays, people rush to earn money and few people have the patience to sit there and practice. Also, guitars like Avalon are tooooooooooooo expensive for people. Chisese normally buy a guitar with 10 to 20 pounds. My teacher, who is regarded as the best fingerstyle guitarist in China questioned "can you see that as a piece of musical instrument?"

My teacher is actually one of the students of Leo Kottke. I am now learning <freight train> and <Last Steam Engine Train>, American Country Style. I am still waiting for my Avalon A32-CE-12 string guitar. It may be on the way to China, flying.

You must be very impatient waiting for your Avalon ! I hope it will arrive safely.

Fingerstyle player Jacques Stotzem will tour in China in December. He's a great player, especially in concert. :P
