John,

So all the blending is done internally, right? My Lowden has a Fishman Acoustic Matrix transducer, and an internal Crown mic. The stereo signal is then blended externally via the Acoustic Blender - also by Fishman.

I'll do some digging. My preference is to have the set-up on my new guitar be plug-compatible with my old one, so that it would be easy to switch from one to the other. But I suppose it would be just as easy to have them set up on separate soundboard channels where I have that luxury.

Thanks for your response!

P.S. Do you also happen to know where Kingsway Hall is in Forest Town?

Thanks, John! This Fishman pick-up seems to give the benefits of all that without cutting a square hole in the top side of the guitar:

I have heard rave reviews on the pick-up that loud Avalon on e-Bay had.

Kingsway Hall, I don't actually know, but I do occasionally go through Forest Town.

It's on Clipstone Rd. West... It's a public hall. The church I was working with rented that hall (and still does) for their Sunday morning services.

In any case, that's the part of Mansfield I know best, though I've ventured out into other parts of town on occasion...
