Is it true that if you lead worship in a church you get some kind of discount on an Avalon??

Why? Are you going to join one and start playing at the front just to get the discount? I think you'll find that kind of spirituality wouldn't qualify for the discount anyway ;)

I'm a minister in the church, and it never even crossed my mind. I have noticed a lot of users do play in churches though and wondered if there should be a special series or branding just for them, under the name 'Eden' instead of 'Avalon'.

Ha ha!

No I'm asking because I have been leading Worship in our church for a few years. If there is such a discount I'd bet people would pretend though. My church leader's family has connections with Avalon and he would vouch for me!

I'm just back from Summer Madness and that was the rumour going round.

Ah, me too...I had an AWESOME time at Summer Madness and am going to get my name down for next year!!!

I heard the rumour a long while ago...

A friend said that I was in a GAS induced haze during my time at Summer Madness he was right...everywhere I went there were just beautiful Avalon guitars...a Gold sitting on the Stage in the Cavern...a couple on the stage played by Tim Hughes, Jonny Parks, Ian Hannah...

Yeah Sam Summer Madness was awesome!!

I went to the final of the Avalon Acoustic Competition. The standard was very high. One person stood out though, head and shoulders above the others. Sadly, however the judges disagreed.

Laura Hunter was robbed!!

Ahhh, I missed the final due to kind of "forgetting": I was chilling out with some friends... 8)

I saw the stage before the final...I thought Laura was awesome, and had a beautiful voice...who won, then, and what were the songs he sang?

A guy called Will won it. He was good alright, but I'd never pay to see him play. He sang 'Best of You', Foo Fighters, and did a good job of it. Laura was just something special though, I'd definitely pay to hear her!!
