Hi folks

guitar set up nicely now with a FWI saddle
Wanted to ask what the best way to lower the action would be
Would it be to take a bitmore off the saddle? I understand
adjusting the trussrod is not a good idea

Thanks

The quickest test for a lower action is to check under the saddle for a rosewood shim, we normally send all guitars out with this shim as it's removal makes for easy pick-up fitting.

If the shim is not there then sand / grinding off small amounts of the bottom of the saddle is next.
Do this carefully and slowly, you want to make sure you sand it evenly and at the correct angle.
Sand paper on something level like a small piece of plate glass works well.
