Are all the silver series made of solid tops and laminated sides and back?

Ok, thanks. That's what I thought, but before I knew that I bought a DS101 based on opposite information given to me be an Avalon dealer. Anyway for the price I paid and the quality I got, I'm still happy with the guitar. Someday once I learn how to play much better, I'll order a nice Avalon custom, I already have an idea what I want.

Shame you were "misguided" :( . There is a lot of general confusion with regards to sale of Avalons....a certain website advertise the Avalon Silvers are having ebony fretboards!!

I am amazingly happy with my DS200. It sounds WAY better than it's retail value.

I will endeavor to own an Avalon Gold or Legacy, for the pure reason of owning an all solid guitar. :)

Help! I am a victim of brand loyalty! I like it!! :D
