JB - czech model

Postby Towzer » 06 Apr 2006, 14:32

JB I think I can tell the difference now on the Gold series Irish made vs the Czech made

Czech made have an abalone sound hole motif and also the headstock on the Czech model just has an "A"

The irish made model has the "A" plus AVALON underneath

Would this be correct?

not quite Towser, I think you're get a couple of model ranges mixed up.

The Legacy range have a Japanese Abalone Shell Logo on the headstock, white looking in appearance and all will Abalone rosettes except for customs or specials etc.

The Irish made Golds have wooden rosettes and a Gold logo on the headstock. All serial numbers start with an "A" and look something like "A00123"

The Czech Golds have an Abalone rosette and Gold logo on headstock.

Any clearer ? .... :? or am I confusing you as well as me

Hey JB

I know you must be tired of clarifying this question... I think I've seen you explain it at least 60 times  . Thought you might like the idea of posting all that info on the "Guitar Dimensions and Spec." post so that people could have access to it. Might save you from carpal tunnel syndrome in the near future.

Blessings,
