Factory visit

Postby smilingpolitely161 » 02 Apr 2006, 09:13

Managed to get down to the factory on Friday, ive been trying for a while but havent managed it until now. Really enjoyed it. No rush, no hassle, play as many guitars as you want - happy days!
We were shown around the factory too which was a nice bonus and really interesting.
I knew if i went i wouldnt walk out empty handed - L32 mmmmm! Not only does it look good smell good and sound good, but im pretty sure it makes me more attractive to the ladies too! Nice price aswell!
If youre looking to get an Avalon i can thoroughly recommend making the effort of going to the factory. JB and the blokes are all really friendly and helpfull, and personally i cant think of a better way of getting a guitar than straight from the people that make them.
Thanks again to everyone at the factory - Vick.

I'm hoping to get to the factory early July... 8)

Being an Englander and not wanting to drag my beat up Peugeot across the sea, can I catch a bus from Belfast to the Newtownards factory?

bus or taxi, we're only about 20 mins from Belfast City Airport.

Call first if you're thinking of July as our annual 2 week Summer hols are in July :D

Wow, I'd love to do that someday. It must be great to see where your instrument comes from and how it's made.
