Congrats on your new guitar !
I also bought a JS signature 2 months ago. Play it every day. Really love the balance, definition and sustain. Bass is very controlled, which is great for amplifying. I play both with bare fingers and fingerpicks, from soft to very loud, and it takes it all very well. Recently a friend of mine played it acoustically in front of me which was for me a new way of hearing it. It sings and projects like crazy, especially the treble notes.
I changed the 012 strings to 011, then 010, then back to 011 which is what I will probably keep.

Must be some magic involved... I too had written a piece, not within a day like you, but a week. Nothing had come for months before that. So I titled it "The discovery of Avalon"

ya know what .... I might just arrange this sometime, just for the sheer fun of it, maybe in mother of pearl or abalone .... you've now got me thinkin' :idea:

.... then run some sorta competiton on here for forum members, he he ... this could be cool

The "tuna" guitar ... That hasn't probably been done before ! especially canned tuna :shock:
