recording with my avalon!!

yes im recording with the greatest gitar in the world my avalon slver series, getting it ready to hit the studio on monday, putting on new strings etc, any advice on pick up settings, tips for recording?

the result was amazing, my avalon recorded like a beauty. Elixer strings are quite good. I used polyweb prior to using polyweb i used nanoweb. Not much difference in ym eyes but still great. I used to use d,addario extended play but i thik i will experiment with the elixers for a while, startin to like em.

I'm a fan of Elixer as well, although I do play with D'Adarrio EXP16's, I sorta move between them depending on my mood
